Paddle Board Tours

With our brand new fleet of stand up paddleboards and a gentle flat-water location nearby, we provide SUP lessons and tours for those who wish to walk on water for the first time.  If you are adventurous or advanced, this is an amazing location to experience SUPing with a tropical twist.  Offshore islands, hidden bays, points, and reefs are all accessible on this pristine jungle coastline.  Paddle the lagoon, ride empty waves, and cruise back downwind.

One of our favorite trips this year is to a beautiful river.  It's not the raging, white water river with rapids type.... It's calm & you can actually see your reflection in the water.  After a short demo on paddle technique and how to balance on the board, we set off on our adventure.  Nice & smooth, we glide slowly so that we can see as many birds, butterflies, and fish as possible.  The mangroves are home to many animals.  Last time we were there, I think we saw 8 different kinds of birds and the ellusive Blue Morpho Butterfly.  Some of the trees along the mangrove look like something Dr. Seuss dreamed up!  Around the first bend is my favorite tree.  It has tear-shaped seed pods and if you look closer, there are sometimes birds with the same shape sitting in the tree, but they are so camoflauged that you really have to look to spot 'em.  It's a nice, mellow trip that is a good balance if you are planning on surfing or doing other very physical activites during the week.  ...and the drive there is gorgeous!  It's part of the adventure!  Cold beverages are available at a cute little Costa Rican bar after the trip.

$60 per person, including transportation and use of all equipment.  Round trip is about 3 hours.
